Meet the Farmers

Hi, we’re Benjamin and Rebekah! Our homesteading journey began nearly 18 years ago at a little one-room schoolhouse in Berks County, Pennsylvania. What started with a few chickens and a small garden has grown into a full-blown love for self-sustainability and simple living.

Today, we call a 1790 stone farmhouse on 4.25 acres home. With a thriving garden, hoop house, Southdown Babydoll Sheep, hens, a dairy cow, steer, and rabbits, there’s always something growing, mooing, or clucking around here.

Rebekah tends the gardens, cans and preserves, makes soaps and lotions, and homeschools our five kiddos—while Benjamin keeps things running, works as an ER nurse, and serves as a flight nurse in the Air Force Reserves.

We believe in hard work, family roots, and turning dreams into reality. Like we say around here, “Some people dream, and some people do.”
